Notes - Gyokuro or "Jade Dew" is Japan’s top Green Tea. The tea bushes of Gyokuro are carefully grown in the shade for about three weeks prior to harvesting in order to protect them from sunlight. This causes the Theanine and caffeine in the tea leaves to increase, while decreasing catechin, giving it a sweet flavor.
